What is CBD?
CBD stands for cannabidiol. After THC (the psychoactive compound found in Cannabis), it is the second most prevalent and researched of the active ingredients of Cannabis. While CBD is an essential component of Medical Cannabis, it is derived directly from the hemp plant, which is high in CBD and low in THC. CBD itself, does not cause a ‘high’. According to a report from the World Health Organization, ‘In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential… To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.

BROAD SPECTRUM: Offers the full benefits of the cannabis plant (entourage effect). No risk of psychoactive effects as no THC. May have a strong natural flavour and odour. The following cannabinoids are present in our Elixir broad spectrum tinctures and oral sprays: CBD, CBG, CBN and CBD-V
